Eco-Friendly Hardwood Flooring
All of Coswick raw lumber comes as a result of selective cutting from local sustainable forests. Coswick works together with local government organizations to protect and maintain green environments. We recycle 100% of wood residue and sawdust that are generated in production. Part of the wood waste is used as fuel for our kilns, and the rest is recycled into wood pellets. Wood pellets are widely used in Europe for home heating.
Coswick is dedicated to manufacturing environmentally-safe flooring. Our flooring finishes are free from any harmful VOC emissions or other air pollutants. Glues used for our engineered flooring are 100% formaldehyde free.
Solid Environmental Practices Are The Key Priority For Coswick
While used vinyl, carpet or laminate flooring is likely to end up in a landfill, worn down hardwood flooring can be refinished to restore its original appearance. Coswick flooring products can be sanded down up to 6-7 times, which extends the life of your wood floor and protects you and your environment. Unlike vinyl, carpet or laminate, a quality wood floor will last over 100 years, which makes it a sound and environmentally conscious flooring choice.
Coswick wood flooring is free from any chemical compounds, formaldehyde and VOC emissions that many vinyl or laminate products often contain. Unlike carpets, hardwood flooring does not collect dust, have mold or mildew, it doesn’t house mites and other insects; wood flooring has no harmful emissions. With hardwood flooring, there is virtually no risk of allergic reactions.
